Questions practitioners ask

Is AI Legal Toolbox the same as Microsoft Copilot?

No. It is an independent Outlook add-in made in Australia for legal practices, with Smokeball integration, a firm library and checks on legal citations.

Who is Nova?

Nova is the AI paralegal inside AI Legal Toolbox. She is software, not a person, and prepares work for a qualified practitioner to review.

Does it give legal advice?

No. It prepares work for a practitioner to review and does not carry the practitioner's professional obligations.
