Lives in the Outlook you already use

An AI paralegal that works where your work already is.

AI Legal Toolbox adds Nova to Outlook on the web, Windows and Mac. She sits beside the email you are reading, understands it in Australian legal context, and prepares the work for you to approve.

What she does

The Docket

Incoming mail sorted into what needs you now, this week, and later, read against your open matters, attachments included.

Drafts, never sends

Replies are written into your drafts folder. The product has no way to send email on your behalf.

Ask in plain English

“Who am I keeping waiting?” “Summarise this contract.” “Diarise settlement for Thursday.” No commands to learn.

Your voice

She learns from correspondence you have approved, so drafts read like you wrote them.

Memory per matter

Pin a conversation to a matter and she keeps the context, so you are not re-briefing her every morning.

Document tools

PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, images and scans read and summarised, with the unusual parts called out.

A drafted reply goes to your drafts folder, not to the recipient.

Getting started

  1. Install the add-in in Outlook. A Microsoft 365 administrator can also deploy it to the whole practice.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft work account and allow mailbox access. You can withdraw it from your Microsoft account at any time.
  3. Optionally connect Smokeball to file emails and record time against matters.
  4. Ask Nova what needs doing first.
